Egypt’s Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry will hold talks with his Hungarian counterpart, Peter Ciarto, who is scheduled to visit Cairo on Thursday.
The talks will discuss the development of Egyptian-Hungarian relations, besides major regional files and possible ways to achieve peace in the region.
Both officials will tackle the ongoing tension in the Eastern Mediterranean region, the current clashes between Azerbaijan and Armenia, the fight against terrorism and illegal immigration.
Relations between Egypt and Hungary have been developing in all fields during the past period, with four presidential summits between the two countries since 2015, the last of which was in New York in September 2019.
