The 10th generation of the German car brand Mercedes-Benz’s E-Class has set benchmark automotive standards with its emotionally appealing design and exclusive, high-quality interior.
To date, over 1.2 million customers around the world have bought a current-generation E-Class, not only making it the best-selling model series in the brand’s history, but also ensuring that it is perceived by many as the “heart of the brand”.
Now, Mercedes-Benz Egypt proudly presents the new E-Class range with a comprehensive range of enhancements. Identified as the go to business saloon, the new E-Class benefits from a more dynamic design with all new headlights and taillights and even more interior comfort.
It also features the latest generation of steering wheels, an MBUX infotainment system, a new Touchpad design, and the next-generation driving assistance systems.
The E-Class range now includes the new E200 AVANTGARDE, E300 AMG and the class leading E300 EXCLUSIVE. Mercedes-Benz Egypt has also extended the range to dream cars status, to include the new E200 AMG Coupé and E200 AMG Cabrio.
A class leading ride
With the emphasis on refinement and innovation, the new E-Class Saloon range offers three distinctive characters with the E200 AVANTGARDE, E300 AMG and E300 EXCLUSIVE. All three models have a redesigned radiator grille, new front & rear bumpers, headlamps and tail lamps.
The new design highlights gives the car a lively appearance, underscoring a sporty and elegant character. On the inside, the new E-Class is loaded with fresh new technology, featuring the latest MBUX infotainment system with touchscreen control, and an entirely new steering wheel. It also boasts wireless charging, surround lighting with projection of the brand logo, and the Acoustic Comfort package for an even quieter in-cabin experience.
Complementing its class leading ride with a worthy performance, the E200 AVANTGARDE is equipped with a 2.0 litre engine pumping out 197 hp, ensuring an active performance and accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 7.5 seconds.
The E300 EXCLUSIVE & E300 AMG are further equipped with a higher output engine producing 258 hp from a 2.0 litre engine, propelling the car from 0 – 100 km/h in a mere 6.2 seconds.
Dream cars status
The emotive appeal of the two dream cars, the E200 AMG and the E200 AMG Cabrio, has been further reinforced with the E-Class range upgrades, bringing more refinement and exclusivity.
The E-Class Cabriolet with the classic fabric top offers spaciousness and comfort on long journeys for up to four people, and does so all year round. The Cabriolet is fitted with the AIRCAP and AIRSCARF systems, allowing for pleasurable cruising when the roof is down. Unrestricted usability all year round is similarly ensured by the acoustic soft top, a standard feature that helps to optimise the level of noise experienced in the interior.
The occupants are able to enjoy relaxed conversation in the vehicle, even at higher speeds. With its expressive coupé-esque proportions, clear and sensual design and comfort for four people, the new E-Class Coupé combines the beauty and classic virtues of a grand tourer with state-of-the-art technology. Both models enjoy head turning looks, exceptionally high-quality materials and top craftsmanship, which serve to emphasise the cars sporty, stylish characters and exude outstandingly high-class appeal.
Next-generation driving assistance systems
Fitted with the latest driving assistance systems, the new E-Class range offers advanced safety features, including Active Brake Assist and Attention Assist. It also features Active Parking Assist with PARKTRONIC, and a reversing camera, as well as PRE-SAFE® system for preventive occupant protection as standard.
