Arafa Group subsidiary gains exclusive rights for Ted Baker brand

The Arafa Investment and Consulting Group announced that its subsidiary, the English Bird Group has concluded a deal under which it obtained exclusive rights for the Ted Baker clothing brand.

The deal means that English Bird Group will be able to design, manufacture, distribute, and sell official men’s clothing for the global trademarked brand to international markets for a period of three years. The Ted Baker brand is one of the most popular international design brands for formal wear.

Mark Cutter, CEO of the English Bird Group, said, “We are pleased to have the opportunity to help build and develop the Ted Baker formal wear business across the UK, Europe and other global markets by designing and manufacturing high quality, innovative and fashionable products at the highest quality level.”

He added, “We have admired the brand for many years and know the strength of their brand.”

Alaa Arafa, Chairperson and Managing Director of Al Arafa Holding Company, said, “We are happy to complete this deal because it is an important achievement for the group and represents an important strategic addition.”

He noted that the deal comes in line with the company’s vision of forming strategic partnerships with the most prominent and prestigious fashion houses, and increases the base of brands that are exclusively managed by the group. It also enhances confidence in the group’s investments and opens the way for increased exports through the factories base owned by Arafa Holding Company in Egypt.
