Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi witnessed, on Thursday, the graduation ceremony of a new batch of police cadets in New Cairo. The 2020 batch includes 1,501 graduates.
During the ceremony, the president honoured top students who will be granted medals of excellence of the second class in appreciation of their distinguished performance during their academic study.
The ceremony was also attended by Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli, Interior Minister Mohamed Tawfik, former Interim President Adly Mansour, Police Academy Chief Mohamed Ibrahim, along with senior police officials.
Tawfik confirmed that the Ministry adopted the latest mechanisms and technologies to establish an advanced security system, which included the development of police facilities.
The ceremony included military parades that showed the new graduates’ combat skills and capabilities.
