Egypt’s Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Mohamed Abdel Aaty and Minister of Transportation Kamel El-Wazir met, on Thursday, to discuss the position of joint projects between the two ministries.
During the meeting, Abdel Aaty expressed his aspiration for more joint cooperation between the two ministries. He pointed to the vital role both ministries have in serving the development goals of the Egyptian state.
El-Wazir welcomed the joint cooperation between the two ministries to implement the Egyptian political leadership’s directives regarding the opening of new roads and axes. These projects come as part of the state’s plan to achieve comprehensive development.
The two ministers discussed the position of the joint projects and the immediate removal of any obstacles that they face, with the aim of completing them in accordance with the schedule.
They also stressed the importance of a speedy completion of the development and rehabilitation work carried out by the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation on waterways intersecting with the River Nile axes implemented by the Ministry of Transportation.
