Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi ordered, on Monday, establishing 3,300 housing units across the country, as part of the national project, dubbed “Residence for all Egyptians”.
This came during his meeting with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, Minister of Local Development Mahmoud Shaarawy, Minister of Housing Assem El Gazzar, President’s Advisor for Urban Planning Amir Ahmed, and Head of the Armed Forces’ Engineering Authority Ehab El Faar.
The Presidency Spokesperson Bassam Rady stated that the meeting also tackled a number of national projects carried out by the Armed Forces’ Engineering Authority.
During the meeting, Al-Sisi followed up on the development of the Cairo-Ismailia and Cairo-Suez desert roads, and linking them with urban communities.
The meeting also witnessed a review of the executive position of the ongoing construction works in a number of the New Administrative Capital’s projects, especially the Islamic Cultural Center, the Egypt’s Mosque. Al-Sisi was also briefed on the government’s efforts to connect the axes and roads of the New Capital to all neighborhoods of Greater Cairo, in addition to the executive position of the central bus station within the capital.
