The Egyptian Cabinet’s Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) has released a clip on social media networks featuring the new updated version of its Egyptian Legislations Portal.
The Portal offers the largest database of legislations and rulings in the Middle East using the artificial intelligence technology (AI).
The IDSC noted that the Portal comprises over 280,000 legislations and more than 70,000 court rulings, some of which date back to 1828. They involve rulings issued by the Court of Cassation and the Supreme Administrative Court, the Egyptian Council of State, and economic courts; fatwas (religious opinions) issued by Dar Al-Ifta; the Prime Minister’s decrees; and decisions made by ministers and governors.
The new Portal relies on cutting-edge AI technology, which enables the user to search for legislations and rulings using different methods. In addition, it provides an advanced search tool that depends on filtering and arranging the results.
Moreover, the Portal shows the relation between legislations and rulings, as they were featured in a sequenced timeline, to allow the user to access the required details smoothly.
