Aqarmap, a real estate marketplace in Egypt, has announced its future vision regarding virtual property exhibitions. The platform has achieved great success at its Aqarmap Expo on 27 November.
The exhibition has seen unprecedented demand, as more than 10,000 people attended the event and showed interest in booking real estate units online.
Emad Al-msaodi, Founder and CEO of Aqarmap, said, “Despite global challenges that we face socially and economically as a result of the spread of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), we have seen unprecedented demand during the exhibition. Clients flocked to book units once the event started, with three bookings made in the very first minute”.
He added that this kind of exhibitions presents a good opportunity for users, whether inside or outside Egypt, to easily check new offerings, compare projects, and book online, which is a clear change in the client behaviour. He noted that it took the real estate marketing sector a long time to reach this result compared to other sectors.
“The need to move towards new technological tools increases every day. Therefore, we are currently working in the Aqarmap platform on organising more than one exhibition periodically. The next year will see the launch of at least two expos, one of which will be in the first half of the year and the other in the last quarter during the period of Black Friday,” Al-msaodi revealed.
