Egypt expressed its sincere condolences and sympathy, on Sunday, to the families of those killed in a plane crash in Indonesia.
The Sriwijaya Air aircraft took off from the Indonesian capital, Jakarta, on Saturday with 62 people on board, but contact with the plane was lost soon after. It is believed to have crashed into the sea, with what is believed to be wreckage from the aircraft and signals from the aircraft’s black boxes now being found.
The government and people of Egypt affirm their solidarity and stand with the government and people of Indonesia during this painful incident.
