Egypt’s Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly discussed, on Thursday, governmental proposals for establishing a fund to present incentives to encourage family planning.
Minister of Planning and Economic Development, Hala El-Said, presented a family development plan, involving studies carried out in cooperation with the United Nations Population Fund to establish a system of incentives to promote family planning.
She added that her ministry is studying several proposals that aim to motivate the citizens to follow family planning, in order to achieve the family development goals.
The plan also seeks to encourage youth to undergo medical examinations before marriage, and take pre-marriage courses, in addition to offering breast cancer examination for 40-year-old women.
