Uruguayan VP, health minister receive dose of China’s CoronaVac vaccine

Uruguayan Vice President Beatriz Argimon and Minister of Public Health Daniel Salinas received the first dose of China’s CoronaVac vaccine on Monday. 

Uruguay’s government on March 1 began its immunization campaign against COVID-19 with vaccines developed by Chinese pharmaceutical firm Sinovac, prioritizing teachers, the military and the police.
