Egypt’s Minister of Trade and Industry, and Eexecutive Director of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (MSMEDA), Nevine Gamea, has said that 60% of the project owners in the current Bazaar exhibition are participating for the first time.
She stressed that the agency is keen to continue organising exhibitions for micro, small and medium sized enterprises (MSMEs).
Gamea added that the agency is in the process of choosing new and distinct projects that have not previously participated in MSMEDA’s exhibitions. This will ensure that the largest number of project owners benefit in marketing their products.
She noted that the Bazaar exhibition enjoys great public turnout for the variety of products offered and different prices to suit all needs of the visitors.
Gamea further pointed out that MSMEDA continues to provide all means of support for heritage development projects, with large numbers working in various governorates, especially Upper Egypt and border governorates.
MSMEDA’s offices are open to the owners of these projects, to provide the necessary support whether financial, technical, training, or marketing. This aims to ensure their ability to compete, continue and provide more job opportunities, she disclosed.
