The Manial Palace Museum will, from 21-27 March, host an art exhibition, called Honna, highlighting the works of women artists.
Museum Director Walaa El-Din Badawi said the exhibition has been organised, in cooperation with the Arab Society for Civilization and Islamic Arts, to mark Mother’s Day.
On display at the week-long exhibition are more than 100 works of art by women artists in Egypt.
Working mothers will be honoured on the sidelines of the exhibition, in appreciation of their role in work and in society. All precautionary measures against the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic will be in place during the exhibition.
