Egypt’s Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tarek El Molla, held a meeting, on Thursday, to follow up on the executive procedures for the national programme to establish and expand natural gas fuelling stations as well as converting cars to CNG during the current fiscal year.
During the meeting, El Molla stressed that his ministry continues its efforts to build natural gas fuelling stations nationwide, in order to meet the needs of citizens benefiting from the presidential initiative to replace and convert cars to CNG.
He pointed out that the expansion in natural gas stations will greatly encourage more people to join the initiative. It comes in line with the state’s strategy to provide less expensive, clean alternative fuel sources.
