There will be a 20% discount on all products produced by the Kenouz Egypt for Archaeological Replicas and on sale at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Fustat, to mark the museum’s opening.
The discount will be applied to mark the opening of the Central Exhibition Hall and the Royal Mummies Hall at the museum, following the arrival of the Royal Mummies Parade on Saturday.
Hisham Shaarawy, Chairperson of the Kenouz Egypt for Archaeological Replicas company, said that the discount will be applied until 5 May 2021. He added that the company will open its first official outlet on Saturday at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization.
Ahmed Ghoneim, CEO of the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, said that a 50% discount on the museum’s Arabic language catalogue will also be in effect.
It is worth noting that the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization received the Royal Mummies Parade from the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square, on Saturday, in a majestic parade befitting the grandeur of Egypt’s ruling ancestors.
A total of 22 royal mummies, dating back to the ages of the 17th, 18th, 19, and 20 dynasties, were transferred to their new home in Fustat on Saturday.
Of these, 18 mummies were those of pharaohs, whilst the remaining four were the mummies of queens. They included: Ramses II; Seknen Ra Taa; Tuthmosis III; Seti I; Hatshepsut; Meritamun, wife of King Amenhotep I; and Ahmose Nefertari.
