Egypt’s Minister of Trade and Industry Nevine Gamea has agreed to launch the 54th edition of the Cairo International Fair.
The event is expected to run from 30 September to 8 October at the Cairo International Conference Center (CICC). It is projected to include a large number of major Egyptian companies in various sectors.
May Assal, Head of Egypt Expo & Convention Authority (EECA), said that this year’s exhibition will see radical changes in form and content. It will include carpets, furnishings, decoration, engineering and chemical industries, electrical appliances and food industries, as well as educational tools, as the exhibition date coincides with the opening of the new academic year.
The exhibition represents an opportunity for visitors to obtain all their needs of school supplies and tools at affordable prices.
The Cairo International Fair is the largest event organised annually by the EECA and includes the largest gathering of Egyptian companies in their various sectors and products.
Meanwhile, Gamea and Minister of Supply and Internal Trade Aly Meselhi inaugurated the “Ahlan Ramadan” exhibition on Thursday.
The exhibition aims to provide citizens with high quality Ramadan goods at affordable prices, with discounts ranging between 15-25%. Spanning over an area of 2,000 sqm, the event has 80 exhibitors participating, and includes sections for vegetables, fruits, red meat, legumes, poultry, and nuts.
