Egypt’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shoukry received, on Monday, separate phone calls from his Greek counterpart Nikos Dendias, as well as the Netherland’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Stef Blok.
The two conversations discussed the rapid developments taking place in the Palestinian territories and the escalation in the Gaza Strip.
The efforts that are taking place to pursue calm were also discussed, as the Greek and Dutch Foreign Ministers appreciated Egypt’s role in this regard.
They also made note of Cairo’s tireless efforts towards reaching a ceasefire and ending the current crisis between the Israelis and Palestinians.
