Egypt’s Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly asserted, on Saturday, the importance of completing the development of the real estate registration system.
This would come in addition to providing all materials which explain how to use the developed real estate registration services.
Madbouly reviewed the brochure recently released by the Ministry of Justice, entitled “Real Estate Registration and Documentation 1946-2021 – 75 Years in the Service of Egyptians”.
The brochure was released as part of the awareness campaign for real estate registration and documentation services, and the mechanisation works. The Prime Minister stressed that developing the services provided to citizens is one of Egypt’s priorities.
Minister of Justice Omar Marwan said that the recently released brochure includes all the work undertaken to develop and modernise the real estate registration and documentation system, which is based on three main axes.
He clarified that increasing and developing real estate registration branches took place through the automation of a large number of notarial offices all over the country. This was in addition to providing documentation services through post offices in several governorates.
Marwan said that his ministry has also launched a mobile application to pre-book a place in notary services offices, in addition to providing documentation services through the “Digital Egypt” platform. This is in addition to launching the first mobile documentation vehicle equipped with the latest equipment and technical systems.
The minister added that phone numbers have also been allocated to receive citizens’ complaints, in addition to conducting inspection visits to follow up on the regularity and proper progress of work.
He said that the booklet provides addresses for the headquarters of the notary offices, as well as an explanation of the importance of such registration. This outlines that the registration achieves property stability, reduces the volume of judicial disputes, and increases local and foreign direct investments (FDI) in real estate.
Marwan also explained that the booklets have a QR Code, through which users can download an electronic copy of the booklet through mobile phones.
