Emad El Tarabishy, CEO and Founder of Al Bawaba company, announced the return of Music Festival in Gulf of Aqaba as one of the most important mechanisms for promoting tourism after stopping last year due to COVID-19 repercussions.
El Tarabishy added that over several years, Taba region in South Sinai has been starring in the presence of a group of the most important singing stars such as Sherine Abdel Wahab, Najwa Karam, George Wassouf, Wael Jassar, Fares Karam, Moeen Sharif, Ramy Sabry and others, through the Taba Music Festival, which he founded.
The Taba Music Festival raised awareness, increase tourism evolution in the Taba region, consequently, El Tarabishy was topped the list of the most influential figures in the field of tourism at the level of the Gulf of Aqaba region in South Sinai.
He further noted that the presence of various activities helps significantly and effectively in increasing occupancy and sustainable development in the region in general, and then starting to move to the city of Nuweiba and launch the first projects of the Gate Development Company in the city of Nuweiba, which is Nuweiba Club Resort.
The Nuweiba Club Resort is owned by Sinai Hotels and Diving Clubs Company, to offer and market a new full-service product of facilities, infrastructure, hotel rooms and restaurants, and to establish the first tourist beach in the Gulf of Aqaba “Seen Beach Club” based on the natural heritage of a different and homogeneous character at the same time on an area 30,000 sqm, which was launched in the current year.
“This year will witness the creation of an integrated community of all tourism activities and services in the city of Nuweiba, including diving sports, water games, a sports club, a health club, restaurants, and other recreational services. In addition to, a model farm and a riding school and other activities,” he revealed.” Among these activities, there are parties for popular stars, and this is what I started working on.
It was supposed to continue holding major parties last year regularly 3 times a year, as it was divided geographically as follows in the month of April with the spring celebrations and in summer vacation in July, with Christmas the end of the year celebrations, but due to COVID-19 crisis and precautionary measures, it was postponed for the current year.”
The Stargate Company for organizing festivals and conferences was launched, which is run by Hani Hassan in his capacity as the CEO and who organized the Taba Music Festivals. In addition to organizing the first music festival in Nuweiba in April, in the presence of a group of the world’s brightest DJs from Germany, Brazil, Malta, France and Spain.
El Tarabishy pointed out, ”During this period, we seek to attract more Arab stars and work on the vision of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi 2030 and to put the region on the world’s tourism map and work on sustainable development that will ensure the continuity of work and innovation.”
He confirmed that the initial agreement has already been reached with a number of the most famous stars to hold concerts, which are scheduled for next September, including Lebanese star Moein Sharif and others. Other than that, the region has regained its presence in a remarkable way in artistic works, where more than one artwork was filmed, whether in drama or cinema, by well-known stars such as Nelly Karim, Yasmine Rais, Ahmed Fahmy and others.
