Egypt has expressed its sincere condolences to Algeria and the families of the victims of the mass fires that erupted in several Algerian states.
Egypt affirmed its full support for Algeria in this painful situation, expressing its sincere wishes for a speedy recovery for the injured.
Since Monday, Algeria has witnessed the outbreak of huge forest fires in several regions.
The civil protection forces continue their efforts to extinguish the fires. Algerian television announced that the death toll from fires has reached 14, most of them in the state of Tizi Ouzou.
Algeria’s Interior Minister Kamal Beljoud announced on Tuesday, “Criminal hands are behind these fires,” and pledged that the government would compensate for the losses of all those affected.
