Arab Contractors wins road project tender in DR Congo

The Arab Contractors has won a 150-km-long road construction tender in the Democratic Republic of Congo. It includes the construction of three large blocks of different lengths for road intersections, as well as a rainwater drainage system and road protection installations.

Sayed Farouk, Chairperson of the Arab Contractors, said the new road will link the provinces of Kamuisha and Kanga. It will cost €110m financed by the European Development Fund.

He revealed that the company started implementing a project to construct and furnish the building of the Congolese Ministry of National Defense in the capital Kinshasa.

Farouk concluded that the Arab Contractors in DR Congo have gained the confidence of customers as a result of the high quality of its works and its commitment to delivery dates. The company also implemented the Pachamba-Wangi road, a number of internal roads in Kinshasa, and a water station in the city of Uvira.
