Egypt’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shukry received, on Saturday, Omar Muhanna, head of the Egyptian-American Business Council, and Tarek Tawfik, President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt, prior to their departure to the United States within the framework of the door-knocking mission.
The meeting comes within the framework of supporting all efforts aimed at promoting investment and trade movement between Egypt and the United States.
These missions discuss the future of investment and trade between Egypt and the United States, and convey a true picture of politics and the economy.
The door-knocking mission is one of the oldest and most important Egyptian trade missions to the United States. It is organized annually by the American Chamber of Commerce in Cairo in cooperation with the Egyptian-American Joint Business Council, and in coordination with the American Chamber in Washington.
