The Doctor Syndicate has resubmitted the medical responsibility bill to Paralimatry Committee,
That it had started working on the draft law several years ago.
The syndicated drafted that law after discussion by experts in the medical, legal and legal professions, in addition to panel discussions with many former and current members of the House of Representatives.
The Syndicate noted that the draft law presented to it represents an urgent necessity for the regular provision of health service and controls the mechanisms of dealing between the service provider and its recipient in the event of medical damage.
The most important provisions of the medical liability bill presented by the Medical Syndicate include the establishment of a commission to determine liability for medical harm that is independent of the executive authorities and is considered an advisory body affiliated with the Public Prosecutor.
This body will coordinate with the specific committees in the various disciplines, determines the injury to the patient as a result of a mistake by the service provider, and determines the schedules of financial compensation for the recipients of the service, according to the damage inflicted on him.
The last draft submitted for the draft law corrected the observations of the Legislative Sector at the Ministry of Justice on three draft medical liability law that had been submitted by three deputies in the previous parliamentary session. Those observations were sent by the Ministry of Justice to Parliament in January 2018.
