The 12th edition of the Creative Industry Summit kicked off on Sunday, celebrating creativity, inspiration, and education in all businesses and walks of life.
Founder and President of Arduino Partners, Dominique Delport asserted that the Middle East region faces many challenges to create a widespread content including 27 different languages and cultures.
He said that America and China are the ones that take over the whole technology industry but what is between them, explaining that by being bold and pushing for what it believes in, the Arab world can make its place in this industry.
Delport added that social media platforms help people create, promote, and sell in one click.
During the summit, Mountain view CEO, Amr Soliman, said that after the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic the world needs to tackle how to add value.
Nowadays People start to transfer from real life to virtual life. They tend to capture photos instead of living the real moment, he added.
He asserted that the real estate started field has also changed into a new meaning the “virtual estate”, explaining that Zoom has replaced the actual office building and Amazon had replaced the mall centers, especially for the 2000s generations as they had led a whole virtual life.
He confirmed that the new real estate developers should focus on providing what virtual estate cannot offer which is culture, learning development and productivity.
This year’s summit will be running from 28 November to 1 December with a 4-day extravaganza that contains 21 tracks on advertising, media, marketing, event management, food innovation, e-commerce, entrepreneurship, art, music, film, fashion, and photography.
