Egypt’s Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry participated on Tuesday in laying the foundation stone for the Magdi Yacoub – Rwanda / Egypt Heart Centre in Kigali.
Ambassador Ahmed Hafez, spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said that the Ministry financed the purchase, supply, and installation of all the equipment of the first phase of the project.
He added that the celebration is attended by high-level Rwandan personalities, headed by First Lady of Rwanda Janet Kagame and renowned doctor Magdi Yacoub.
