Bosta, the leading Egyptian e-commerce delivery site, announced that ex-Amazon employee Amr Sultan will be joining the company in the capacity of Egypt’s managing director.
The appointment of Sultan contributes to solidifying Bosta’s relationship with partners and clients at a stage in which the company seeks to expand in the Arab world and Africa.
It also contributes towards creating a complete system of logistics and fintech to support the growth journey of SMEs in the field of e-commerce.
Sultan is a seasoned expert in market strategies and logistics across the MENA region with over 20 years of experience, having held regional leadership positions with Procter & Gamble, Henkel, and Amazon in Egypt, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia.
He is joining Bosta from Amazon, in which he led the Amazon transportation and logistics network for the MENA region, contributing to its design and recent expansion, in addition to the rapid expansion of the elmenus.com marketplace through the on-demand food aggregation space in Egypt.
