Egypt’s Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem issued a decision to send the winners of the State Prize for Artistic Creativity to travel to the Italian capital of Rome to start their scholarship at the Egyptian Academy of Arts.
Abdel Dayem said that the award aims to connect young innovators with global experiences to develop their capabilities, explaining that access to modern technologies in the art field contributes to preparing a new distinguished generation of Egypt’s soft power elements.
She stressed the need to prepare programmes for winners of state awards to develop the younger generations’ abilities.
The State Prize for Artistic Creativity at the Egyptian Academy of Arts in Rome is granted to creators in several artistic fields, including playing and composing music, opera singing, ballet dancing, filmmaking, theatre, oil painting, and making pottery.
