Egypt has dispatched tonnes of medical aid to Tanzania under the directives of President Abdel-Fattah Al-Sisi, a statement by the Egyptian Armed Forces spokesperson Gharib Abdel-Hafez said on Thursday.
Two military jets carrying tonnes of medical supplies from Egypt’s Ministry of Health took off from an east Cairo airbase to Tanzania.
Abdel-Hafez added that the aid is part of Egypt’s continuous support for friendly countries, facing adversities, affirming Egypt’s leading role in Africa.
