International Emirati singer and Middle Eastern icon Balqees will headline an interactive 60-minute concert during live streaming giant LIVENow’s launch in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
People can catch the fully-interactive ‘Crossover with Balqees’ performance on LIVENow on 18 January.
The Crossover with Balqees will be streamed live to fans across the world and will showcase Balqees’ signature sound fused with modern genres. This will include a never-before-heard collaboration with a live DJ.
Alongside this, Balqees will take the audience across the Middle East, as she’ll be singing her classic tracks in multiple dialects from across the GCC.
Viewers can be a part of the live-stream event thanks to LIVENow’s by purchasing a VIP package to meet Balqees virtually. Live-stream chatting will also be available to all ticket holders along with virtual hangouts for up to four friends.
The 32-year-old singer is one of the biggest female stars in the Middle East. During her decade-long career, she’s garnered a huge online following with more than 30 million social media fans. She’s also had dozens of hits throughout her decade-long career, including recent singles ‘Diplomacy’ and ‘Jabbar.’
More recently, she was approached by US superstar Alicia Keys for a collaboration at Dubai Expo 2020.
Balqees is a huge Middle East star with over 30 million followers across YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook. She is also the first female artist to win the Hollywood Music and Media Award and has collaborated with opera icon Andrea Boccelli and released several critically acclaimed albums.
Her recent singles ‘Janoub Al-Darb’, ‘Diplomacy’, and ‘Entaha’ have been streamed millions of times, and a wax statue with her likeness has been added to the Madame Tussauds Museum in Dubai.
As well as being a huge pop star with a global fanbase, Balqees is also a women’s rights champion in the region.
