Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shoukry headed on Saturday to Kuwait to take part in a consultative meeting of Arab foreign ministers that the country is hosting starting Sunday.
The State of Kuwait is the current president of the 156th session of the Arab League Council at the ministerial level.
Ahmed Hafiz, the Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said that Shoukry’s participation in the meeting aims to continue consultations with Arab foreign ministers on current Arab issues and to coordinate positions in order to support joint Arab action mechanisms in facing the challenges facing the regional and international arena.
During his visit, the Egyptian foreign minister will meet with his Arab counterparts to discuss bilateral relations and coordination on issues of common concern.
