Wize for financial consultancy — a leading provider of financial and economic advisory services — announced the successful completion of a joint cooperation deal between Post for Investment (PFI) — the investment arm of the National Post Authority (Egypt Post) — and Estadat Sports Facilities Management Company — a subsidiary of United Media Services Company.
Wize has succeeded to perform its integrated role as the financial adviser to Estadat Sports Facilities Management Company, starting with negotiations and ongoing meetings, in addition to discussing investment opportunities to ensure the maximum possible benefit from this deal, which is the first Egypt Post deal within the sports investment market in Egypt.
Moenes Amin, Founder and CEO of Wize, said that the completion of the huge deal is in line with the vision of the Board of Directors of Estadat for local, regional, and global expansions.
On the details of the deal, Amin said that “PFI has acquired a 20% stake in Estadat, after financial and economic evaluation procedures, which resulted in this huge national partnership.”
“This partnership can contribute to accelerating the expansion plans implemented by both parties to spread their services to Arab and African countries through a work team that combines the strength of the two companies’ managements in implementing sports and social services that live up to consumers’ expectations.”
Amin stressed that this deal is one of the most important deals for Wize, as clients’ confidence reflects the team’s ability to explore and seize promising growth opportunities, which qualifies the company to take advantage of the boom in merger and acquisition deals in both the markets it operates in or outside them.
“Since the establishment of Wize, we have focused on providing our services in the highest possible quality and efficiency in terms of searching for great economic opportunities for our clients,” he added.
PFI and Estadat announced the partnership during a press conference held in Cairo in the presence of Hassan Abdallah, the Chairperson of United Media Services; Sherif Farouk, the Chairperson of Egypt Post; Saif Al-Waziri, the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Al-Watania Stadiums Company; Ahmed Abdullah, the Chairperson and Managing Director of Al-Bared Investment Company; and Mohamed Morgan, the Vice President of Estadat.
It is worth noting that Estadat was established in the last quarter of 2019. It works in several fields related to sports and social activities through its ownership of City Clubs with its branches across Egypt.
It has several subsidiaries, such as ‘Presentation Live’ for the management of satellite channels and programme production, which manages Al-Ahly Club’s channel, some educational channels, and Skydive Pharos — which works in the field of air sports.
