Minister of International Cooperation Rania Al-Mashat held a virtual meeting with Abdullah Ahmed Al-Sabeeh, the Director-General of the Arab Investment and Export Credit Guarantee Corporation, this week.
This is part of the ministry’s effort to hold periodic meetings with bilateral and multilateral development partners to advance economic relations and bolster cooperation as part of Egypt’s 2030 Vision.
Al-Mashat expressed her appreciation to Al-Sabeeh for his company’s cooperation with Egypt across fields of trade and investment in a way that advances development, in addition to the role the corporation plays in pushing forward economic relations between member countries.
She noted that the ministry is keen on opening the horizons of cooperation and coordination with all regional and international institutions to support development efforts within the development boom that the country is witnessing and, under the directives of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, to achieve and make the most out of the development cooperation agreements made with development partners.
The two parties also discussed the anticipated visit of Al-Sabeeh to Egypt in order to push forward cooperation and to outline the future roadmap in the field of investment and export credit guarantees.
Al-Sabeeh also expressed his company’s keenness to advance cooperation with Egypt and to widen its horizons in a way that bolsters the company’s role in the country to support the flow of Arab and foreign investments and to support Arab exports in a way that advances economic growth.
