Within a few days, the blessed month of Ramadan will come upon us, and TV drama makers in the Arab world are racing to complete their works. The coming period will witness a strong competition. However, this year, the Egyptian drama is regaining its high position, which it has maintained for more than 50 years, despite the COVID-19 crisis. The number of TV series decreased during last Ramadan. The state, producers, critics, and experts encouraged TV stars and directors to recover from the pandemic crisis. That is why the upcoming Ramadan 2022 season will be significantly more diverse compared to the last season. This diversity stems from the scriptwriters’ reliance on literature in their works.
Thus, the drama is witnessing a heated competition between the stars of the Arab world to win the largest share of viewership on television, with its terrestrial and satellite channels. Through the following lines, we will review together, the Arab TV series that will be released in Ramadan.
