An Asian delegation, consisting of ambassadors of Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, the Philippines, and their companions in Egypt, has visited New Alamein City to get acquainted with its most important landmarks and development projects.
The delegation first watched a documentary film on the completed phases of different projects in the city. Then, they toured the beach towers and entertainment areas.
During the visit, the delegation praised the efforts made by the state and the quality of the various implemented projects, expressing their happiness with what they saw and their keenness to increase cooperation between their respective countries and Egypt in all fields.
A number of towers are being constructed in the coastal city, of which the most important project is the Downtown Towers, which is being developed by the Chinese company CSCEC. The project includes five fully finished and serviced residential towers. The main tower has a height of 250 sqm (68 floors) with a total area of 465,000 sqm, while the remaining four towers stand at a height of 200 sqm (56 floors) with a total area of 320,000 sqm.
