CPC Industrial Development Company officially inaugurate its new industrial complex in Sadat City on Sunday with industrial investments expected that amount to EGP 4bn, which will contribute to generating 15,000 new jobs for Egyptian youths.
The complex includes 80 plots of land with complete facilities prepared for the construction of factories in various sectors as well as 20 other plots designated for logistic areas in addition to service, administrative, and recreational areas, green spaces, and playgrounds.
CEO of CPC Moataz Bahaa Al-Din said that since the launch of CPC’s business in 2007, it has sought to become the gateway to development and industrial development in Egypt by establishing advanced industrial complexes. These complexes aim to serve all industrial and logistical needs.
In 2008, the company established the CPC Industrial Complex in Sixth of October City on an area of 1.5m sqm in 2008.
In April 2019, CPC signed a contract with the Industrial Development Authority to develop and manage a new industrial complex in Sadat City on an area of 1.1m sqm, which it began implementing in November of the same year.
Bahaa Al-Din added that the company is now adding the new industrial complex in Sadat City to the list of successes it achieved over the past years.
The project provides the latest designs in terms of planning, infrastructure, facilities, and public services, while enhancing CPC’s experience in developing and managing industrial complexes in various sectors.
The complex includes various areas of industrial land with complete facilities to serve various fields of industry, most notably building materials, chemical industries, food and pharmaceutical industries, textiles, leather, wood, engineering and electronics industries, in addition to allocating an entire area for warehouses and logistic services.
The CEO added that the new industrial zone also includes a complex for small and medium industries called ‘Gahez’ (‘Ready’) with a total of 110 units ready for operation and production with an area ranging from 600 to 800 sqm.
