Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah scored twice in his team’s 4-0 victory over Manchester United on Tuesday, in the English Premier League, extending his lead of the league’s top scorer list to 22 goals.
The Egyptian star became only the second player in the competition’s history to have scored and made an assist in home and away matches against Manchester United in a single season, equalling Mesut Ozil’s record in the 2015/16 season.
Liverpool will face Villarreal, on 27 April, in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-final.
