Press reports revealed the first offer of Spanish club Barcelona for the inclusion of Polish striker Robert Lewandowski of Bayern Munich during the next summer transfer period.
Lewandowski announced that he will not be renewing his contract with Bayern Munich — which expires in June 2023 — as he wants to play outside the German League, however, the Bavarian administration has refused to give up his services, sticking to completing his contract and forcing him to leave for free.
Catalan newspaper Mundo Deportivo reported that Barcelona officials have set an amount between $30 to $35m for the purchase of the Polish striker this summer.
The Spanish heavyweight team is looking forward to signing Lewandowski in order to support the Blaugrana’s offensive side and compete for all titles next season.
Lewandowski is 33 years old and Barcelona’s management believe that he has the ability to play for at least three more years.
Lewandowski has scored 50 goals in 46 games in all competitions this season.
