The Ecomondo and Key Energy Conference and Exhibition that is being by the Italian Exhibition Group (IEG) will be held from 8 to 11 November in Rimini.
The event will focus on the green transformation in Africa and ways to reduce emissions through discussions and a forum that will include representatives of a number of African embassies, governments, and institutions.
More specifically, the forum will discuss environmental challenges and opportunities in North African countries, the transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy, waste recycling to maximise added value, and reducing emissions to preserve the environment.
IEG CEO Corrado Peraboni said that the Ecomondo and Key Energy Conference and Exhibition will be the most comprehensive in terms of circular economy and clean energy and will serve as an integrated platform for business, research and innovation, providing a real opportunity for networking and the exchange of opportunities between Europe and Africa.
Peraboni also explained that the discussion on green growth in Africa fosters opportunities for progression in the areas of green hydrogen and the relationship between water, energy, and food, with a focus on the circular economy and youth in Africa’s ever-increasing integration into the global economy.
The Italian Exhibition Group, through Ecomundo and in cooperation with the European Commission, presents a dual strategy on the topic of decarbonisation, the promotion of biodiversity, and waste recycling, and the focus will be on the entire Mediterranean basin.
Furthermore, the Key Energy exhibition is scheduled to include many innovations and solutions for the production of clean energy, the equipment used in projects, and ways to achieve energy efficiency in sustainable cities, along with electric mobility.
