The price of the USD continued to rise against the EGP at the end of trading on Tuesday to reach EGP 18.9892 for purchase and EGP 19.0683 for sale, compared to EGP 18.91 for purchase and EGP 18.9883 for sale on Monday, according to the averages of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).
The official price of the USD at the CBE also rose to EGP 18.9799 for purchase and EGP 19.0884 for sale, compared to Monday’s EGP 18.8959 and EGP 19.0084.
The USD exchange rate exceeded the EGP 19 benchmark during banking transactions today, going for EGP 18.99 and EGP 19.05 at the National Bank of Egypt.
At the Commercial International Bank, it reached EGP 19.01 and EGP 19.07. Meanwhile, at the Arab African International Bank, it reached EGP 18.97 and EGP 19.07.
As for EGBank, it recorded EGP 19.04 and EGP 19.07. Finally, it stood at EGP 18.97 and EGP 19.07 at Suez Canal Bank.
