Al-Sisi welcome new ministers, briefs them on their duties

President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi met on Sunday with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and the ministers that were sworn in at the Republican Palace in Al-Alamein.

In a statement, Presidential Spokesperson Bassam Rady said that Al-Sisi welcomed the new ministers, wishing them success in their mission in a way that meets the aspirations of the Egyptian people and contributes to achieving the state’s strategies and grand goal in protecting its interests.

The president also stressed that the new ministers show impartiality, objectivity, and dedication. Moreover, he urged them to consolidate the principle of efficiency and outstanding performance and exert maximum effort as a consistent management approach to uphold the interest of the homeland.

The president also directed the new ministers to accurately identify all the tools and capabilities of their ministries, institutions, and affiliated bodies and improve their management to maximise the product of those capabilities and develop their working method in order to achieve maximum benefit and possible returns.

Furthermore, he directed the development of training and rehabilitation programmes and raising the capabilities of human resources — especially young people.

The president also stressed the importance of regular communication with citizens and providing the best services to them in the field of work of each ministry, while spreading and deepening public awareness about the international, regional, and internal challenges facing the state.

For his part, Madbouly stressed that the new ministers are determined to work to the best of their capabilities and build on the achievements and studies that have already been accomplished.

He also stressed the need to ensure coordination and harmony between ministries and all sectors and various state agencies in a way that maximises the process of optimal implementation of state programmes and plans, pointing out that the government is keen to accelerate the pace of completion of various national projects and the implementation of all mandates entrusted to it.
