The Egyptian and American naval forces carried out a joint training within the scope of the Northern Fleet, in partnership with the helicopter carrier (Gamal Abdel Nasser) and the frigate (Galala) from the Egyptian side, and the American destroyer USS Delbert D.Black.
The training comes in the framework of the plan of the general command of the armed forces to upgrade the level of training and exchange experiences with the Armed Forces of brotherly and friendly countries,
The training included the implementation of a range of different training activities, which focused on training on the exchange of the operational situation in the maritime theater of operations, and training on the methods of homogeneous work within a joint force charged with maritime security tasks in order to confront any threats that may affect the flow of trade.
It is worth mentioning that the training is the second of its kind between the two naval forces, which was carried out within a short period of time, which contributes to the exchange of experience, and enhancement of military cooperation between the Egyptian and US navies and international freedom of navigation.
