Egypt expressed sincere condolences to Lebanon, Palestine, and Syria as dozens of illegal migrants were killed in a boat sinking off the Syrian coast.
Egypt expressed its condolences to the families of the victims and their families, and wished speedy recovery of the injured.
It stresses that restoring stability and resolving the crisis going through the Middle East region would contribute to preserving the lives of people in the region.
The death toll of the accident has risen to 89.
It is suspected that the boat sailed from northern Lebanon a few days ago bound for Europe.
The incident is the bloodiest so far, after an increasing number of Lebanese, Syrians and Palestinians sought to flee crisis-ridden Lebanon by sea, heading for Europe.
