The price of the US currency witnessed a new rise of EGP 0.2 against the Egyptian pound. The dollar exchange saw a total of EGP 0.10 rise within two days.
The dollar price at the Central Bank of Egypt broke the barrier of EGP 19.7 on Tuesday. It reached EGP 19.60 for purchase and EGP 19.7084 for sale, compared to EGP 19.5746 for purchase and EGP 19.6862 for sale on Monday.
The average price of the dollar at banks operating locally was EGP 19.6125 for purchase and EGP 19.6883 for sale, compared to EGP 19.5919 for purchase and EGP 19.6683 for sale yesterday.
The price of the American currency at the National Bank of Egypt and Banque Misr amounted to EGP 19.61 for purchase and EGP 19.67 for sale, while it amounted to EGP 19.59 for purchase and EGP 19.65 for sale at the Commercial International Bank.
The price of the US dollar at Banque du Caire reached EGP 19.63 for purchase and EGP 19.69 for sale. It recorded EGP 19.64 for purchase and EGP 19.69 for sale at AlexBank, while the Arab African International Bank traded it at EGP 19.61 for purchase and EGP 19.69 for sale.
The price of the American currency in the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank – Egypt also rose to EGP 19.66 for purchase and EGP 19.69 for sale. At Al Baraka Bank – Egypt, it reached EGP 19.57 for purchase and EGP 19.67 for sale. The Suez Canal Bank traded the US currency at EGP 19.59 for purchase and EGP 19.69 for sale.
