BI-Technologies — an Egyptian company specialised in software and digital solutions in MENA — announced its participation in the seventh session of the Egyptian Food Trade Fair (Food Africa 2022), which is being held from 5 to 7 December at the Egypt International Exhibition Centre in New Cairo.
The event is hosting 730 local and international exhibitors and 500 international buyers on an area of 30,000 sqm.
Commenting on the event, Nazih Bahy — Director of Sales at BI-Technologies — said that the company is keen year after year to participate in Food Africa, where the company is keen to be present and participate in it to display its latest digital solutions and services that it provides.
The exhibition represents a gateway that gives companies the opportunity to access the agricultural sector in Egypt and Africa. According to the announced official figures, this sector’s investments amounted to EGP 500bn in 2021, with the food processing sector accounting for 14% of the total Egyptian export sector.
Bahy explained that the company has a long record of successes in the projects that it has recently implemented, not only in the Egyptian market, but also in several other Arab countries, such as Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, Algeria, Ethiopia, Morocco, and others, with major companies operating in these countries.
For his part, Ahmed Al-Naggar — Director of Business Development at the company — said that BI Technologies has a commitment to the food industry, adding that the company has a package of solutions to serve it that work to improve the performance of companies and increase their sales, the most prominent of which are integrated and interconnected solutions that are unique to the company and serve the industrial sector.
He noted that one of the solutions is Sales Buzz, which helps to automate sales and the work of delegates remotely and includes a number of other solutions that help in performing various tasks, as well as the Mandoobi application, which facilitates fast and safe communication for merchants with large companies to place orders and make the payment process, whether by traditional or electronic means.
These applications work on smart phones that operate on the Android or IOS system. There is also the Fleet Control programme, which helps in following up transport trucks and fleet management, and the company’s Field Buzz programme allows field services management.
Moreover, the company has a strategic partnership with Omnitracs Solera to provide solutions such as Roadnet, which is an integral part of the service management’s hands-on planning and execution.
