Obeikan Digital Solutions launches development centre in Egypt

Obeikan Investment Group has announced the opening of the headquarters of the Obeikan Digital Solutions and a product development centre in Egypt.

The group’s decision to expand in the Egyptian market aims to achieve a real addition to the Egyptian technological scene, as well as provide pioneering digital services and solutions for several service and industrial fields, and supporting the needs of the business sector and companies in Egypt within the framework of its strategy to draw a digital transformation map for companies in the Arab region.

This came during the press conference to launch the company in Egypt, in the presence of Abdullah Obeikan, CEO and board member of Obeikan Investment Group, Hisham Danana, Chairperson of Obeikan Egypt, Mohamed Khalil, CEO of the commercial sector of the Obeikan Investment Group.

Abdullah Obeikan, CEO of the Obeikan Investment Group, said that the launch of the company’s digital services development center in Egypt comes in line with the group’s strategy for regional expansion, and it is the company’s second center in the region after the one in Saudi Arabia.

The company’s assets and business amount to $1.6bn, according to Abdullah.

Hisham Danana, Chairperson of Obeikan Egypt, said that the company is working on several partnerships with a number of government agencies to cooperate in the field of developing the industry using digital tools.

Danana added that the Industrial Modernization Center and the Industrial Development Authority are the top entities that the group seeks to cooperate with, in addition to the Arab Academy for Technology and Maritime Transport.

He explained that Egypt currently enjoys great opportunities in the field of digital services and solutions, and the Egyptian government’s effective efforts in developing technological infrastructure in various services and sectors and developing new cities based on 4G technology.
