Egypt’s Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry headed on Monday evening to the Russian capital, Moscow.
Ahmed Abu Zeid, the spokesperson of the Foreign Ministry, said that Minister Shoukry is scheduled to meet with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of industry and Trade Denis Manturov, and Secretary General of the Russian National Security Council Nikolai Patrushev, to discuss several issues of mutual interest.
Abu Zeid pointed out that the Egyptian and Russian sides will consult and exchange views on many international and regional files, including the Russian-Ukrainian crisis and its various repercussions.
