The Ministry of Trade and Industry has handed over contracts for 113 industrial units to 60 investors in New Fayoum in two industrial complexes for concrete and metal industries which included 42 units in the metal complex for 32 investors and 71 units in the concrete complex for 28 investors.
These units have been made available with complete utilities through ownership and rent systems. The most important productive activities of the units received in the two industrial complexes are chemical, food, engineering, pharmaceutical, power, spinning, and weaving industries.
The handover of these units comes within the framework of the Ministry’s plan aimed at establishing 17 industrial complexes in 15 governorates, as the Ministry provides procedural facilitations and large financing facilities for unit owners. In addition, technical support programmes, within the framework of the presidential initiative to support small and medium- sized enterprises (SMEs) with the aim of providing more decent job opportunities for young people.
Additionally, the Ministry provides all equipment, facilities, and services networks, namely administrative buildings, a product exhibition, a bank, and sale outlets in the two complexes.
