Forbes Middle East magazine has chosen businessman Hisham Talaat Moustafa, CEO and Managing Director of Talaat Moustafa Group (TMG), among the list of Top 100 Travel & Tourism Leaders 2023, for the second year in a row.
This came in appreciation of Talaat’s efforts in leading the group in advancing tourism development, through the development of unprecedented tourism and hotel projects with international standards, to own the most luxurious hotels in Cairo, Alexandria and Sharm El-Sheikh, achieving a high return and occupancy rate.
Hisham Talaat Moustafa is the only Egyptian real estate developer on the Forbes Top 100 Travel & Tourism Leaders 2023 list, and he ranked 45th in the list that included the most influential leaders in the region.
He outperformed major names of company leaders working in hospitality, hotels and resorts and managing airlines and airports, in addition to His selection in other lists of the same magazine for the most powerful CEOs and major real estate development companies in the Middle East.
Forbes magazine attributed the reason for choosing Hisham Talaat Moustafa to his great success in leading the Talaat Moustafa Group – whose history in the field of urban development extends back more than 50 years.
TMG contributed to the development of a large number of tourism and hotel projects. Also, it owns Four Seasons Resorts Sharm El Sheikh, Four Seasons Nile Plaza Cairo, Four Seasons San Stefano Grand Plaza Alexandria, Kempinski Nile Cairo, and all hotels include more than a thousand keys.
Forbes indicated that Hisham Talaat Moustafa succeeded in 2022, by jumping the group’s hospitality sector revenues by about 102%, with an occupancy rate of 60%, noting that the group is one of the largest real estate developers in the region.
