The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a press statement on Wednesday, highlighting the ongoing violations and crimes committed by the Israeli occupation and the programs run by the Israeli colonial government in the Occupied Palestinian Territory.
The ministry has confirmed that these activities confirm the Israeli officials’ attempts to marginalize the Palestinian cause at the international level.
The statement further adds that the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, and all Israeli officials are intentionally ignoring the immediate and strategic necessities required to solve the Palestinian issue and end the conflict through political and negotiated means. Instead, they continue to sell misleading sentences to the world in an attempt to remove the issue of the Palestinian people and their rights from international and regional concerns.
The Israeli officials are making every effort to rearrange the priorities of international policy on the Middle East away from the importance of solving the Palestinian issue, despite it being the complexity of the conflict in the region and the key to its security and stability.
However, this Israeli position falls within the framework of anti-peace and will fail to diminish the importance and necessity of resolving the Palestinian issue.
The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed that this will fail due to the national and humanitarian presence of the Palestinian people, their steadfastness in their homeland, their adherence to their just and legitimate national rights, and the continuous support of brothers and friends in the world.
Moreover, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry said that Israeli officials are taking advantage of the double standards and protection provided by some major countries to escape the entitlements to end the occupation and solve the Palestinian issue. Taking more practical measures to compel the Israeli government to comply with the will of international peace requires international courage, which is consistent with international law, respects the resolutions of international legitimacy, and seeks to implement these resolutions.
The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs called for the international community to take notice of the ongoing violations and crimes committed against the Palestinian population and to take practical measures to end the occupation and resolve the Palestinian issue through political and negotiated means.
