President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi has stressed the importance of the role currently played by the Egyptian Military Academy, pointing out that this role extends to preparing and rehabilitating many cadres that work in the public apparatuses.
In a speech during his visit to the Military Academy on Saturday, President Al-Sisi said the government aims to strengthen and emphasize the ability of those who join various state institutions. He added that the college has nothing to do with the technical part of each party and will not interfere in it.
“We seek to mitigate the effects of the economic crisis on our citizens and have withstood the global crisis thanks to the economic reforms of 2016,” President Al-Sisi said.
He reassured the students about the repercussions of the current economic crisis, saying, “I spoke to you last time and said that we are trying to mitigate the effects of the crisis that has lasted for more than three years, including two years where the crisis of the Covid-19 pandemic hit the world, which had a great impact on the global economy and Egypt, but we survived thanks to God and thanks to the reforms we carried out since 2016.”
Regarding his African tour, President Al-Sisi said: “During the past two days, I made an African tour to Angola, Zambia, and Mozambique. When we started the COMESA chairmanship, our goal was to open up more and cooperate more with our African brothers, and there was a plan for this.”
He added: “The past three years have had an impact on our movement, as our movement has been reduced, but we took advantage of the opportunity to hand the COMESA Community over to the State of Zambia to visit two neighboring countries (Angola and Mozambique),” pointing out that his visit to Angola is the first by an Egyptian president since the independence of Angola.
“The Russian-Ukrainian crisis has had major repercussions on the global economy as well as on Egypt, but we are trying to mitigate it,” President Al-Sisi said.
There is no doubt that it is a major crisis that has an impact on prices and supply chains, and it has a major impact and is still, but every day we acquire the ability to develop our capabilities in facing this crisis, and God willing this crisis passes on well like every crisis that passes through any country,” he continued, “Crises will continue.. This is the nature of the world, nothing remains the same.”
